Marine Life Training for Safari Blue Crew
Three Safari Blue crew are attending a 5 week Marine Life course led by a lecturer from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands
The hands on introduction to Marine Life in Zanzibar includes sessions on marine ecosystems and the food web, coral reefs, mangrove forests and marine mammals as well as safety on board and in the water. Once the 5 week course is finished the 3 crew will do a training session with the other crew members to share with them all their knowledge.
Safari Blue is hosting the students and Maarten Bergwerff their teacher on a Safari Blue field trip on Monday 9th October.
This is just another example of how we are striving to improve our guest experience on Safari Blue to offer a greater understanding of the amazing environment we are working in.
