It always seems odd to be celebrating Christmas and the New Year in the sunshine and heat! After living in Zanzibar for 20 years i don’t often enter much into the spirit of all things Christmassy! However this year on Safari Blue we made our own Christmas trees from bits of driftwood and sticks to bring ourselves into the festive spirit. The trees are on Kwale island where we have our desert island restaurant. We are always open throughout the holiday period including Christmas Day 25th December and even New Years Day! Season’s greetings one and all! Karibuni Zanzibar !! Siku kuu njema!
